Troubador Press Submission Guidelines

Looking to get published by Troubador Press? This is a micro-press passionate about comics, zines and even art books that thing outside the box. While my personal interest is fantasy and science fiction I am open to other genres of comics and zines. These are general guidelines, not rigid rules, but here’s what we’re currently seeking:

1.      Self-contained works: I am interested in stand-alone comics, zines, artbooks, and books ranging from 10 to 200 pages. I am not currently seeking serialized works unless it’s a finished collection.

2.      Solo creators or small teams: I prefer submissions from solo creators or two-person collaborations, with a strong creative vision.

3     Styles: I am looking for work that explores unique themes, experimental design, or underrepresented voices is a plus.

4. Reprint: I’m also interested in reprinting neglected or forgotten books. I want to focus mostly on fantasy and science fiction books or interesting art books. Whether it’s a book you previously had printed and want it printed again or suggestions on a book you enjoy you would like to see printed.
